Bio

My name is Clara Potapa and I am a mother, grandmother, wife, interpreter and realtor.  When I was 16 I moved from Cuba to my new home in America. I attended Holland High and went on to graduate from Hope College with a BA, majoring, in Spanish Literature and Studio Art. Prior to doing real estate, I worked in human services because I am a humanitarian by nature and love to help people in any way I can. I became interested in real estate when I first bought a home. My realtor was kind, patient, and accessible and went the extra mile to get us our first home, all qualities I embodied when I became a realtor myself. My experiences with people from many different backgrounds and cultures help me to serve a diverse population of people with respect and integrity, always making their needs my main priority. I am bilingual, which can make the home buying process easier for people whose first language is not English. I enjoy working with first time home buyers and am very resourceful;   I am always on the lookout to save buyers and sellers as much money as possible.  I am familiar with, Rural Development and other first time home buyer programs. Many of my former clients have become my lifelong friends and I promise as your realtor I will strive to provide you with the utmost care and always remain honest, helpful and accessible. If you want a knowledgeable, personable, hardworking realtor with 20 years of experience to take the stress out of home buying for you, give me a call! It is my pleasure to assist you through your home buying journey and help you find the perfect house for you and your family.
